I think that marijuana should stay illegal in Honduras because it can affect the economy of Honduras, its hallucinogens properties can produce many accidents and because it can open the way for many other drugs to be legalized. Also if they legalize marijuana people will start using other drugs because they would get bored of using marijuana later on.

The word marijuana comes from the Mexican Spanish word, marihuana. According to the United Nations, cannabis "is the most widely used illicit substance in the world." The overuse of marijuana as clearly said in the passage is amazing in the World and the problem that is brings is that it is highly addictive.
The tremendous addiction these addicts have toward cannabis can lead to many problems especially within their family and toward economical stability of the family and the country. The economical responsibility leads to the betterment of a country. If a drug like marijuana is legalized many people will start abusing and will therefore affect the whole country.
Some side effects of cannabis:
“Marijuana side effects also wreak havoc on the brain when the drug is used habitually. The natural chemical balance of the brain is disrupted affecting the pleasure centers and regulatory systems. The ability to learn, remember and adapt quickly to changes is impaired by marijuana use. Depression often occurs with marijuana usage, which feeds into the cycle of more drug use to treat the pain created by drug use. This cycle of addiction is very powerful and users soon find that they cannot stop using the drug even if they want to.”
All these side effects can prove that marijuana should be illegal.
you are bloody stupid... first off, marijuana is NOT addictive at all! People just enjoy the feeling they get from it and therefore continue it's use... not addiction. It's like someone who like mcdonalds a lot, they eat there a lot, doesn't mean they are addicted, they just go their often cause they like it... and you can not possibly write a full significant 'blog' on weed if you've never even tried it... it's a loooot different from what you think, and people only hear what they want to hear about it, until the've tried it...

ReplyDeleteyou're a retard. that's really all i have to say. if you think and believe everything you read why don't you look up some real facts on a .gov site you are absolutely ridiculous. and you need to get all your facts straight i used marijuana daily for 3 years and it never got old and never did i once say "hey im tired of this. i want to try to stick a needle in my fucking arm" false. this dose not happen. to anyone people who think it is a gateway drug are wrong in the seance that they think if you use marijuana that you will use other drugs. the only way that would become true is if your drug dealer sells more then weed. in that case if it were legalized there would be no more need for a drug dealer. so that eliminates that, learn about something before you try to educate people based on the video you watched in 9th grade in health class.
